i have been trying to change the loading picture and it has not worked... i renamed the picture that i wanted to use to 'welcomehead.192.png' and it didn't work. then i tried 'welcomehead.192' and that also didn't not work. i am using resco explorer but its telling me that 'welcomehead.192.png' is in rom memory and i cannot delete it. can anyone help me with this issue?

I was able to overwrite it using Total Commander. When you got that pop-up in Resco about the ROM file, it didn't have an option to overwrite it anyway? Also, make sure the image you are using is actually a .png file, not just a .jpeg renamed with a .png extension. If it is a .jpeg, all you would need to do is open it with ms paint on your computer and save as a .png file.

No, it didn't give me the option to overwrite it but i was using a .jpeg with a .png extention...thanks for the help, i will be sure to give it a shot when i get off from work
