Hi guys. I am new to this, and am having a problem. I have a htc Touch Pro from Alltel, and I unlocked it, then followed the directions in this thread, and the flash went fine. Only it appeared to have flashed it to Verizon, and my GPS (TomTom 7) could no longer use the internal GPS receiver. I reflashed to the stock Alltel ROM and everything went back to normal. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!

did you change to a cricket prl? has your pst settings been done for cricket? and have you set you msl to 000000 or 333333?

I have no idea on the Cricket PRL or the MSL, because I am not sure what to do there.
As for the PST Settings, I *THINK* I have all of those set up correctly. I found a nice detailed thread about that.. EDIT: My MSL was already set as 000000, so that was good, but it appears that my issue was indeed the PRL. I put in the Cricket PRL for my plan and area, and seems to be good. Thanks for the help! OK I am having a weird problem. I do not yet have this phone in service with Cricket. When I update PRL with the 38944 PRL file, and make a test call, I get the message that this phone is not in service and to call Cricket.
After a little while, I try another test call, and it tells me "Welcome to Verizon wireless..." If I redo the PRL, it goes back to Cricket, but the same thing happens. What am I doing wrong now? EDIT: It appears that the Verizon message only happens when my signal drops and the roaming icon appears. I turned off roaming and it no longer is going to the Verizon message. Does this mean that roaming will not work on this phone once Cricket service is put on it? Last edited by DalyTek; 10-27-2009 at 08:42 PM.
