OK I am having a weird problem. I do not yet have this phone in service with Cricket. When I update PRL with the 38944 PRL file, and make a test call, I get the message that this phone is not in service and to call Cricket.

After a little while, I try another test call, and it tells me "Welcome to Verizon wireless..."

If I redo the PRL, it goes back to Cricket, but the same thing happens. What am I doing wrong now?

EDIT: It appears that the Verizon message only happens when my signal drops and the roaming icon appears. I turned off roaming and it no longer is going to the Verizon message. Does this mean that roaming will not work on this phone once Cricket service is put on it?
