Yea, that update won't work on a stock rom because it's a 19xxx build.

Re: Build 21XXX--which ROM is fastest and most stable?

How exactly do you check to see what your build is? I have Juggalo's rom. Is that rom's build higher than 21000?

Re: Build 21XXX--which ROM is fastest and most stable?

What i have found is even though the higher numbers have a raw advantage of speed, depending on the "Chef", they can be rather quirky and not as stable, when pushed out fast.

I am also quite surprised how a good cook can make an older number run just as fast & smooth. Takes more time to refine.
Latest Mighty& Silence roms are good examples.
Thats not to say their better than others, just pointing out the older OS number is still just as good.

Re: Build 21XXX--which ROM is fastest and most stable?

It seems most of the 21XXX builds I've seen have the text messaging bug. Where you come out of the window from having a convo but yet it shows 2 or 3 unread messages. Then you have to go and in out of the conversation 2 or 3 times for each message to mark as read.

I tried out the gwes.exe hack and it worked, the menu enhancements are great--another move to rid ourseves of the archaic style of wm UI!!

Re: Build 21XXX--which ROM is fastest and most stable?

Ok after much testing of all the 21xxx I concluded that the fastest is 21015 and I will now build on there from now on...
