What i have found is even though the higher numbers have a raw advantage of speed, depending on the "Chef", they can be rather quirky and not as stable, when pushed out fast.

I am also quite surprised how a good cook can make an older number run just as fast & smooth. Takes more time to refine.
Latest Mighty& Silence roms are good examples.
Thats not to say their better than others, just pointing out the older OS number is still just as good.
