Re: Post Your SDconfig.txt, provisioning.xml, etc. Files Here!
okay so i just read through this whole thread....i am currently on an old 6.1 rom and am thinking about moving to a 6.5 one....i've been hesitant to change roms cuz i didnt want to have to redo all tha tweaks i've made to it....someone pointed me to this thread. most of tha programs i have are installed on my sd card not the phone mem...my first question is: Is there somewhere i can look to double check which app is on my internal mem and which is on my sd card.....next for the ones on my sd card, with this UC thing, i shouldnt have to reinstall them, but..all the registry entries they use will be gone, if i go into my registry now HKLM/Software....do i just copy that whole folder to keep all tha entries that my apps use? for instance my registration code for Sprite Backup/Terminator...without tha registry entries i lose those...so to sum up i want to upgrade to a newer rom and keep all the settings for the apps installed on my card
ontop of that, how do i restore my contacts and texts...thats all, i'll manually redo my email, and all tha apps installed on my internal mem...thanks in advance |

Activesync and gmail was a snap- Yahoo is throwing me a curve ball. Code: <wap-provisioningdoc> <characteristic type="EMAIL2"> <characteristic type="{02000c0f-0910-0c02-0902-0303030a0010}"> <parm name="CONNECTIONID" value="{436EF144-B4FB-4863-A041-8F905A62C572}" /> <parm name="SERVICENAME" value="Yahoo!" /> <parm name="SERVICETYPE" value="POP3" /> <parm name="INSERVER" value="pop.mail.yahoo.com" /> <parm name="OUTSERVER" value="smtp.mail.yahoo.com"/> <parm name="NAME" value="" /> <parm name="AUTHNAME" value="stricklando" /> <parm name="AUTHSECRET" value="XXXXXXX" /> <parm name="DOMAIN" value="" /> <parm name="REPLYADDR" value="stricklando@yahoo.com" /> <parm name="FORMAT" value="2" /> <parm name="LINGER" value="15" /> <parm name="RETRIEVE" value="51200" /> <parm name="KEEPMAX" value="" /> <parm name="DWNDAY" value="3" /> <characteristic type="TAGPROPS"> <parm name="8128000B" value="1"/> <parm name="812C000B" value="1"/> </characteristic> <parm name="AUTHREQUIRED" value="1" /> <parm name="SMTPALTENABLED" value="0" /> <parm name="SMTPALTAUTHNAME" value="" /> <parm name="SMTPALTPASSWORD" value="" /> </characteristic> </characteristic> Is there a way to cab up the email stuff? I haven't figured out the CAB thing, what I have figured out is using CERegEditor to take a snap shot of the registry before configuring something and after configuring it, comparing the two and then making a cab out of the difference... it's all built into CERegEditor most of my registry tweaks are in a CAB file |

All Im missing is the port? Do I add it to my "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" with a simple change to "smtp.mail.yahoo.com:587"? I tried the editor, but it will not load on my computer at work... go figure.... thanks for the info! |

I made a mortscript that will move the icons like I need it to, then I have the mortscript delete itself!! I use SDConfig to copy the file to \Windows\Startup so when the PPC reboots, it will run the mscr (mortscript) file from \Windows\Startup and delete itself because that's what it's supposed to do This resolved my issue |
