if i'm not mistaken, it looks like you managed to incorporate some of the new 6.5 gui enhancements into 6.1. it looks great

I'm pretty sure it is. I think that there is an official version out. Anyways....it has to be 6.5 now that I think about it. Why else would he ask for an xml to enable TF3D as default

He said next version will be XBMod Manila with all fixes (1D not Topez). I'm pretty sure if he was to go with 6.5 he would include the UI for 6.5 as it's his preference

becuase he was originally thinking about having it be bare bones so the user could choose their UI

Don't know about the read only but for deleting files with UC, I used this code for deleting the tweaks.xml file from the Diamond config util

<wap-provisioningdoc>
<characteristic type="FileOperation">
<!-- delete tweaks file in diamond config -->
<characteristic type="\Program files\Diamond TF3D Config\tweaks.xml" translation="install">
<characteristic type="Delete">
</characteristic>
</characteristic>

But if you look back in the thread, he asked for this xml after he announced that it would include TF3D-2. I mean it could still possibly be for this intention...but it doesn't seem to be likely to me unless he is planning on releasing 2 versions
