Kitchen requests
Ok, here is what I am thinking...
I am redoing the core of kitchen. Using Sprint Diamond 2.0 ROM as core. Realigning the selections. Adding a bunch of junk you will never use after you flash with it for the first time ;c) Added back in sensor apps, took out the today screen options as they screwed to much crap up anyways and its easier to modify your boot TSK with the confg.txt now because I upgraded the autorun to the latest version and set the proper security in the REg this time ;c) Requested: +rework 21015 to fix autorun issues +add in 21018 becuase its nice +TF3d HD? not sure about the touch flow deal because i never use it. Can some one put up some links to specific posts that you are talking about please? That would save me at least a day of searching ;c) What else? EDIT: Also, this is the biggest debate for me. If you note I keep apps seperated into folders in the kitchen and that is how they appear inthe ROM. For example, all GPS apps go intot he GPS folder in programs. My debate is to wether or not I shoudl leave it or revert it to the default locations of just Programs? Any thoughts? Last edited by scrosler; 03-12-2009 at 06:44 PM. |

If an app falls into one of those three categories, put the folder in...Other items can go under the general heading. My personal feeling about different apps, is I like the availability of independent CABS. Not burning items i nto ROMS(except essential things) makes changes easier when the developer updates his app, and also allows me to easily delete them if I don't like them. Re: *21 Feb* UPD 15: SSK 1.5M *8* OS Kitchen inc WM6.5 Build 21159 and OS 21015 ROM -
Question:
I'm currently running CE OS 21109 and have a minor tweak question When a calendar event displays, there are options to "snooze" them for varying periods of time (5, 10, 15 minutes, 1 hour & 1 day) Does anyone know the registry key to change these values? Thanks |

I know Conflipper mentioned he had moved to that build, but I never saw any true post where the OS/Build screen had matching pairs. dres took his 21032 build for PPCK down due to spurious errors that couldn't be resolved, most of them XIP related, leading to unbootable ROMs. I built and flashed a 21028 ROM using PPCK a few days ago to see what the "din" was all about, but quite frankly, I didn't think it was all that great. My "windows folder test" showed it to be slower than 21018, and the scrolling I did on the 1K+ pic folder I have on my SD didn't seem any faster than 21018 either. Memory usage too was about the same, and the initial leak I thought I saw in 21018 isn't as pronounced as I had thought, though it is about 5-7MB in 24 hours, and I haven't seen any builds that don't have some residual leaking, even stock builds So for now, 21018 seems to be the best build out there IMHO, and I have been running it since we both ported it to Scott's kitchen a couple weeks ago. I have to say that i've settled for this over 21018... this one does not give me the startup issues like the 21018 did... tho i'm sure its one of my personal apps causing this... its nice that this is a bit more stable... |
