I have this incessant need to chime in on flashfest. I just flashed according to my sig. I could not have done it without phattooth walking me through every step. I'm ready to flash 10 to 15 more times today.

your sidekick is my personal mentor. He has logged about 4 hours of VNC time into my box. It's a wonderful thing that he isn't charging me, I'd be putting more bad checks in the mail.

I'm going to spend some time building a complete "how to" with screen shots for those who are in the same boat as me. It will take a day or 2.

Can I just flash a new OS to try without creating a whole new ROM...kinda like you can do with the "radios".

Hehehehe... No, the OS ROM's are just like Radios... They are ROM's that happen to replace the entiure OS.

I am making a ROM to match the new CE OS. If you got a system that works for you know just back it up, fiund the RMO you flashed with so you can flash back if dsesired, flash my rom, install fresh, test. Decide....

If you want to go back just flash old rom and restore settings.

Sweet! That would be excellent. Let me know if you need help. I have been struggling trying to do the same. I cna do it just not enough time between flashing test builds ;c)

I think your time is better served doing what you do, and I'll contribute what I can. Before I go live with it, I'll send it to Batman and our skirt wearing friend Robin for a once over to make sure it is accurate.
