Bob,
Step 5) I didn't get a message to press the power button, it just started running the raphimg.nbh with a progress bar. It completed I am doing a soft reset now.

Did you happen to try to tweak your ACCOL or anything?

After I get everything working again, I want to make an "EMERGENCY" SD card that would have different files that I can import to the right places...that would include Important Dll's, cabs, whatever is necessary to get me running in some basic "complete" mode.
I think it should include"
1) WM File Explorer
2) ActiveSync (the part that resides on the TP (if anyone had a cab or DLL or whatever that is, please let me know)
3) ADDITIONAL SUGGESTIONS

I doubt it....I don't even know what ACCOL is? Going to try it again, and not hold all those buttons for so long

Bob

Edit: Didn't help...just held the buttons long enough to get to the bootloader screen....even after I let go, the white portion went to "SERIAL"
Guess I'll do a hard reset, and then try again with a "clean" TP

can you boot your phone all the way up?
are you going to do a clear storage instead of hard reset?

it was ACCOLC not whatever I typed before, its where you change your priority on incoming calls

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ghlight=accolc

check the PST tweaks, you'll probably add it to 1206/ 768 / where ever that post is now.

I honestly would like to help you out, but I can't make any sense of this post at all. I've been hoping somebody else would have been able to interpret it by now. Lets start with the basics.

1. I believe the B2B flash had issues with SMS for sprint users, are you a sprint user? The B2B is documented in the first sentence in the first thread of this post, but it doesn't cover every problem that existed.

2. The clicking into and out quickly.... Are you trying to access your SMS with touch flow? Are you sliding over to SMS then hit "all messages" ?

3. Have you tried a different ROM to see if the problem exists in it as well?

im sorry i was in a real rush earlier. im using b2b on verizon without touch flo. i have used many other roms and none of them have this problem.

lets say im in the sms program, someone sends a text message i click the text and then click OK before it 100% loads it goes back to the main sms screen and i still have 1 unread message or 2 or 3 etc etc. if i let it load it will 'read' one message but still have the others unread. i have never seen this in another rom and have been able to click the message and out of it quite quickly without a problem.

i tried to use sms without threaded enabled (trying to disable and enable to see if that fixxed the problem) and i didn't have any issues with that form of sms. only when threaded is enabled does it cause problems, and i simply hate using non threaded sms

A hard reset didn't help either....I still get "SERIAL" (where USB is when connected to the PC)

Guess I'l try the R4R ROM and see if it works on that
