The name is correct because I copied/pasted and the file is at the root of the SD card.....There are no folders on the card, just a couple of PDF's.

What did I miss

You missed the fact the SD card has to be less than 4 gigs and formated a specific way.... so many sectors, etc....

sprint lays the OEM's out diff than VZW. I was using a VZW base because, well, thats what I **HAD** as a carrier. I know VZW stuff very well so now that I got a sprint device I can find all the diffs.... Its a freakin pain in the ***.

Step 5) I didn't get a message to press the power button, it just started running the raphimg.nbh with a progress bar. It completed I am doing a soft reset now.

Did you happen to try to tweak your ACCOL or anything?

I doubt it....I don't even know what ACCOL is? Going to try it again, and not hold all those buttons for so long

Edit: Didn't help...just held the buttons long enough to get to the bootloader screen....even after I let go, the white portion went to "SERIAL"
Guess I'll do a hard reset, and then try again with a "clean" TP

can you boot your phone all the way up?
are you going to do a clear storage instead of hard reset?

it was ACCOLC not whatever I typed before, its where you change your priority on incoming calls

Yea, the phone is totally operational, except I don't have ActiveSync. It's working on the desktop....The TP says to use the "Getting STARTED" cd....and I'm 1200 miles from that CD....thought reflashing would solve the problem....No, I didn't change anything about the incoming call priority

Did you copy any other item over to the SD card, like the RUU utility?
