I'm currently running 21032... and let's just say... this is the very first time where i'm actually hesitant to flash to a different ROM... i hear 21042 is even better!??

I've ran countless versions (all of them since i joined i think...) only a few worth mentioning...

20764, 20771, 21015, 21018, 21028, 21032, 21038 of which my favorite are

21018 and 21032

21042 is yet to be tested...I did download eRice's kitchen and made a new ROM... BUT didn't go through with flashing... i just don't think it'll beat my current 21032. (it probably will) bah i'll wait till former's magic touch on the XIP...

i'll 3rd 21042 cuz it has the biggest number! its gotta be good if everyones making new roms outta that now anyway. lol, cant wait till clock bug fixed in manilla2 to see your flavor

Scott, I've already got 21015 working :mrgreen: and have not flashed since Friday. I'm definitely wanting to see 21042 and some of the newer builds.

** I need confirmation on an issue:
I've had trouble answering incoming calls via the answer button on the touch screen. By the time I get the phone to my ear, the call drops. The caller calls back, and it works fine. This has happened with every incoming call. Any guesses, could it be something with the generic carrier?

I also flash for its own sake :) - it's fun to tweak the phone to perfection. Definatley, no question about it. I have been running on a 20931 build for a few weeks now, and it is extremely stable. I've only had one or two lockups, both which happened while I was doing something and are not the fault of the OS. I've gone 5 days without a soft reset, and could really get away with longer if I wanted to push it (I typically do it every 2-3 days just for good measure and force of habit).

20764 is also very stable, and is the last official ROM release. The 210xx builds are definately quicker, but are generally less stable, or haven't been out long enough to tell for certain how stable they are.

SSK 1.5 with either 20764 or 20931 will be very stable and reliable. SSK 1.6 final non-beta is probably going to be finished soon, but it hasn't had quite the shakedown 1.5 has, so a few minor issues may remain. There a couple nice additions in 1.6, but depending on how you load out your ROM you may not need them.

I have been cooking my own 21042 rom with my specials tweaks and let me tell you it is fast and reliable i would consider waiting maybe Scott(SSK) will come out with one. if not all his other ones are great and fast and with tons of memory to spare.

Has anyone been able to get Verizon Navigator working properly with R4R? I can't get it to lock at all. (I am a subscriber and it worked fine with earlier ROMs. This is a new behavior with R4R.)

Also, I had used B2B, but I also had the problem of Verizon Navigator "failing" once or twice before processing my GPS request.

Try the fix in post #4. The R4R was done before the fix was implemented in later ROMS. If that doesn't work, then all I can suggest is a search because I think that Scott did a fix for that ROM.

AS always... Thansk Bob!

YEs, The R4R series was before i learned how to hack the GPS drivers the way I want them. I then created a cab for the VZ Navigator drivers if so desired. They should work just fine on any ROM I release going forward.

Ok, sorry about last night. Had some more weather related issues to contend with.

I have two new builds I hope to post

A special mix by me, 21018 XIp on 21038 Base
and thanks to bored 21042.

I will also release the final kitchen, ver 1.6.

I should start uploading in about an hour. I just need to tweak a couple things but we all know how that can go...

Im testing 21042 now BTW.

I still like my own mix... 21018 on 21038....

Im looking into the newer WM6.5 builds but may not have it until later tommorow.

I hope to get these two builds up ASAP.

21042 is nice. No doubt.

I will let you guys compare that to my special mix ROM... I will post two of the same.

I have TP2 manila working with landscape. No issues. Used Xbox Mods cab directly. Did not use anyone elses. Works well. Minor landscape alingment issues but overall..... nice change. i like the calendar... ALOT! ALOT LOT! Thats is nice!

Where is mobile matss fuzeberry theme I hear about. Can someon link real quick before I start ziupping everything up and calling it a day?

EDIT: Ok ok, one last thing... Normal start menu or the TP2 Rhodium junk? Its up to you. May do a loaded *** ROm and then a basic RMO with nothing more than OEM stuff.

it's up to you but i'd run fpos's 21032 xip for speed on the 21042 package... I'm getting ready to make it an optional xip for my kitchen for the vzw users who dont feel it a need to have matchin os and build numbers


you can include the start menu like i did and just let the cabs in my autorun folder turn it on and off for them ;) you'll see teh ones i'm talking about

Really? K, I will check that out. I am a matching build number freak so we will see. I broke down with 21018 though. On 21038 base it is pretty smooth.

I am playing with 21042 on 21042. Its pretty damn smooth too. I will check out what he has though.... The faster the better!

well my xip isnt fully optimized... i have a newer one I made today for faster boots but havent released it... i let the kitchen go out as is for now.... the natives were getting ressless ;) so was i.... lol

I got the cab, converted it to OEM. Cooked it using the Default RGU/DSM and its only 1.x Manila. I guess I will see what I can do..... I didint lay it down over TP2 manila but will give it a shot.
