Under phone settings, location was turned off, so I had to turn it on. Otherwise all other setting were properly applied. Anybody experience the same issue? :???:

Have you run QuickGPS and the HTC GPS Tool

Edit: I just notice in your Sig block, that you're using the 6800. Is that correct?

Re: 4 APR 09 - UPD 23: SSK 1.6 Rev A - 12 OS'es to cook with, 9 Bonus ROM's!!!

Scott, with you cleaned up Rev A kitchen, you might make me flash again. However, I do have a couple of questions.
1) Does the IE6 Beta have Flash Lite built in, or do I add it from the SSK folder in Documents
2) The EXTRAS, if I burn them, do the go to main memory, or did you put them on the SD card
3) Is the Mobile Matt Manila from Fuzeberry 1 for the Standard TouchFlo, or Fuzeberry 2 for the Rhodium TP2
4) Did you clean up the Rhodium Manila and include the latest, or is it the same one that was in the previous kitchen?
5) I assume you fixed that entry that gave an error from the last kitchen
6) TouchFlo 3.029946.53 is that the little app in the System Folder
7) FYI S2U2 is up to 1.62
8) How is the Sprint Comm Manager different from the standard one, and can I use it with Verizon
10) You say OS 21042 is "Updated" Is it updated for the REV A kitchen, or is the update from an earlier time. To me, all the OS's seem to be about the same. Is there any reason I should choose a particular one with the new kitchen?
11) You said you were going to fix my problem leaving the SD card in when I flash. Did that get accomplished or should I remove the SD card before flashing?

I am going to be using the Rhodium manilla. However, I'm thinking about adding that after flashing to make changing it easier so I don't have to re-flash when they come out with fixes. If so, what manilla should I choose as a "base".
Also, what's your recommendation...burn it into the ROM or follow my previous statement.

Thanks,
Bob

Re: 4 APR 09 - UPD 23: SSK 1.6 Rev A - 12 OS'es to cook with, 9 Bonus ROM's!!!

Hi all - I was hoping to do some mixing of the SSK 1.6 Kitchen with Bored's Kitchen. specifically I'd like to see about getting the R4R theme on a cooked bored ROM for my first attempt.

Do i just copy the manilla files from Scott's package over and replace in bored's and cook? Or is it more complicated than that? I'm going to try this today, and may want to do more if this works, but thought I'd solicit the community who have done this first so I can hopefully skip over some n00b mistakes!!!

Thanks, and I hope all is well,
Cory

Hi djsiva,

I like your today screen. Right now I'm using SPB mobile shell just so I have quick reference to new call's, sms and email. How are you doing that with your setup?

Thanks,

Doug

Used Scott's SSK 1.6A to cook with CE OS 21198. That's the default Today screen for Windows Mobil 6.5; I just changed the background, start menu icon, and .tsk under settings.

guys, how many seconds does it take you to display the \windows directory? i'm using a cooked version of scott's build 21042 with 1.6 rev A kitchen. now it takes almost 6 seconds, whereas in build 21015 it used to take less than 3 seconds. hmm...

That's a poor way to test...

You really have to pay attention to how many files are in \Windows\ for 21015 and 21042. you can easily see them in Active sync... Also... the delay you are seeing is caused by cachfilt.dll missing from the 21042 XIP. the 21015 version had the XIP made by FormerPalmOS which is far more optimized then the current one in 21042... He's currently on vacation and won't make the optimized version of 21042 Version of the XIP till he returns...
