Bob

I already said I dont see an issue. Worked for me.

Doubt its a bad flash.... Did you flash a cooked or kitchen ROM?

So strange because i tried to reproduce it and cannot. It would seem like the charging DLL's are the issue but I dont see why its not more wide spread? If I could reproduce it I coauld troubleshoot it.

If you can send me the DLL's from the stock ROM, I could just drop them in (without reflashing) and see if it helps....or can't I....maybe I can't remove my current ones?????

I put the check there. I dont feel its good to constantly disconnecting the charing cycle. I never charge from USB. I only charge from outlet. Sorry. I have 5 battires all under 3 months old and I use one phone to charge them while th eother phone consumes them. I rotate them every three days.

That's probably why you never see the issue.

Kinda - but not fully....LI-ION batterys have no "memory" like the older Ni-Cads.
Doing a bunch of connect/disconnects should have no effect on the battery. It's kinda like a glass of ROCKSTAR...If you drink some, and then just "add a little", you haven't changed the taste...just that you do it more often. Also like your car battery....you charge it every time you start the car. However, I remember reading that LI-ION batteries do have a "charge" life. That is after a given number of charge cycles, they won't charge anymore. However, I have always assumed that meant complete charge/discharge because most people wouldn't be doing a "partial" charge. When they charge, it's overnite or something.

Boxwave ClearTouch: there is none better. I have tried both Clear and Anti-glare, and for my liking, Clear is the choice, but you might want to try both and see which one you prefer.

Like Bob, I also use the Seidio Verizon TP case (not the belt clip style) and I love it. It's ultra thin, has a rubbery texture, and is not uber-shiny like stock case. What's more, it effectively covers the "Verizon Logo Bubble" so I don't have to look at that and wonder what the f--k happened to this unit during quality inspection before public release. And yes, that's my OCD flaring up again;)

Kitchen. I didn't have this problem with any other cooked or kitchen ROM I've used previous to SSK1.6.

Its 5:53. Do you know where your Rev A is?
:)

BTW what will be the difference between 1.6 and Rev A? I read you were going to try and free up some memory. What will we see? Increased speed? More avilable memory?

More so storage Memory for those that cook.

I am cooking two ROM's to go with the additional SYS files I am adding, I got the 21028 working smoothly.

I am going to do a light ROM and a Full loaded ROM on that SYS.

The light ROm will be targeted at VZW Pro's and the Fully loaded will be target at all others.

I have changed the carriers around again.

I made the Ringontes and extra BMP files selectable now to save space. I trimmed down the SSK OEM and folders. Total savings is about 15 megs if applied.

I added some ringtone selections.

I changed base OEM's to eleiminate the sprint stuff from being in everyone's control panel. Only the sprint carrier will now have that.

Over all clean up and slight internal changes.

+1 on that. ClearTouch Crystal is the best I have ever tried. This last time I opted for the anti-glare and I dislike it greatly , although it does clear up a little after a few weeks or maybe I am just getting used to it ;)

You might be in luck....trying to help a Noob, I found this on the FATBOY TP2 site....other than that, I can't help

For the time being off on SMS try this registry key it has worked for me on other ROMs. This is a known issue not to do with manila. ADD the following:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\PhoneSetting]
"TrustTimeZoneField"=dword:00000000
