Question for ya... ever spent any of that wonderful benchmarking time of yours to see if the HTC Performance cab that overclocks to 624 actually does anything. I'm just curious. Thanks!!

Theres only one way I would try the 6.5 again and thats if they somehow made it slightly different witht the searching for progrmas. I dont mind the today screen, its everything else after that that I dont like. The transparent bottom soft buttons are awesome too though I would love to get a completely transparent set working on the 6.1

I'm with ya there... I wish there was some way to better organize the start menu... I'm going to mess around with it a bit and see what I come up with..

So....is it 21189 or 21198? LOL

Every link says 21189 but the file is listed as 21198.

=)

Thanks for all your hard work Scott!

what is the main difference between this new 21042 revision? Just that we can customize it more basically since its separated?

First, I'm not familiar with that Performance cab. Second, I've avoided overclocking my PC, because if I "fry" the processor....it costs big bucks to replace it. But....now with the TP, I have insurance....so they'd have to replace it if it was fried. One disadvantage of overclocking is greater battery drain and higher processor temps. Those two items might negate any advantage of overclocking. I found an app that dates to 2007. Do you know if there's a later version that might work better with the TP

TEP insurance deductible $100

new intel e5200 c2d cpu $75....unless you're running a superexpensive quad extreme or something

That's the latest one I've been able to locate, November 2007. I've been running it for close to 3 months now with no ill effects. I'm not sure if the speed increase is actual or the placebo effect. The only heat increase I've noticed is when I'm running GPS and BT together along with the normal cell signal, but it doesn't feel as though it's enough to cook the phone. (besides, who cares if it does b/c I have insurance) :)
