Anyone else found a way for the TP to be recognized without a reboot after a flash? Vista reboots are sooooo slow!!!

That does not work. It says its not connected. Only a reboot seems to work. I was just hoping to avoid it.

Of course, it works tonight!

Sounds lilke more of a USB port problem either on your phone or PC. Have you ever tried a differnt port? Go from font to back or back to tfront. My PC does the same thing. For me its just going fromt he back port to the front port.

Its very rare for it to occure but when it does that always fixes it.

I had the same problem except this time it was a phone problem...I had to get a new phone. If you can try it on another computer, you can save a lot of time in troubleshooting.

In case anyone missed it....

The very first upload was broken. There was a minor minor issue with the VZW Carrier.

I am uploading a freshly fixed copy right now.... Its 80 percent done out of 130 megs.....

If you dont use VZW you can download this file for now:
http://www.scottcrosler.com/TouchPro...A_TP_Broke.rar

Otherwise please wait..... In about 20 minutes it will be finished.

This info is also in the OP.
