Scott,

Thanks for the Beta. I appreciate your work. I was hoping to try something out soon.
Everything seems to be working the way it should. I have not had any problems and GPS works quickly.
The only thing that I noticed with manila is the weather DB was not the complete one I am used to but downloaded this cab to fix.

Also the reminder notification still has the repeat option checked and greyed out. I attached the reg file to fix.

Any other thoughts on this ROM now that it has been out for nearly an entire work day?

Any feedback welcome......

IM really looking for feedback on bugs, speed and thoughts on the new Manila HD?

If you have cooked with the new core kitchen please provde any thought son that as well. Most of the changes will be transpartent to the average cook. So if you dont see any changes in the kitchen dont worry about it. Its the changes that take place under the hood that counts ;c)

Cool, I will take the cab and add it in as an RGU in __scrosler folder to make it easy for everyone to find.

I have this but wasnt ready to put it in yet. I am still contemplating on wether or not I want to break manila down to the core like the other chefs do. The problem with doing that is it takes the "simple" out of Scotts Simple Kitchen. You see the delimina. I want to keep the kitchen as simple as possible but yet produce fast work.

Anyone have any thoughts on breaking manila down to the core like the other chefs?

Great, sounds good!
I don't think that you need to break down manilla. That cab fixes the weather for those who need more cities. IMO manila in other kitchens once broken down seem to make errors quite often of duplicate files, etc. I am happy to be able to simply choose which manila and cook away. Once the TP2 manila is released things will go that direction anyway.

Thanks Ted!

Now that you've been to the "big" city, your tastes have changed....No more ROCKSTAR. No wonder you didn't post much during vacation.....I guess the next step is an expensive champange.

I like the new kitchen. One item that you need to add back in to the final version is your WeatherDatabase of US cities. I don't need it, but I think a lot of people like it. The current database is the "world" version with only a few US cities. I also liked having a separate "Communications" tab. I used to check that frequently to see what was active (I know I can get to it from settings). Don't know if you can add that back or not.

Good job on putting it all together. Can't wait for the final version.

Thats kinda how I felt about the simplicity of selecting one. I also think most chefs know how to change manila anyways....

For those that dont it can be as simple as just copying the *_Manila files into a manila folder. For example. When I got the HD Manila ithad no clock. I found a clocked i liked then just copied the clock files into the manila folder. Bam, now I have a full manila. Had to add the engine too....

To change clocks it would be the same steps, juct overwrite what is there. Make sure you know the clock works with the theme FIRST before hosing your manila files and always make back ups FIRST!

If any of this post makes no sense then ignore it. If you do understand what I am reffering to and want more info feel free to ask.
