I'll give you 10 seconds to respond....then it gets flashed. Actually, I'll give you a little more time.

The original problem was that ACTIVESync wouldn't see the phone, either as a phone or as a hard drive. All my flashing had to be done via SD card.

THis is what we were talking about when you I was on vacation right?

I knew you had a bad port. I think I even said that ;c)

You said I needed to re-install Windows....that it was a windows port.

But I finally got home to fully check it out with a 2nd computer.

The VZ tech rep said "she never saw a bad port on the phone"...but whether it's a broken wire in the phone or a bad port in the phone....It works now

yep, thats the cab! I had issues with the cab, and the phone would reboot when in burst mode. with the Camera 6.02.32964.00 built in to the OEM, everything I can recall is covered.

But, I wanted your new one Bob...

Back on topic..ish I've been toying with building my own OEM's all day, and there are a few things I need to be pointed in the right direction on.

1. If I know I'll never use any carrier besides VZW, can I just delete "\carrier - alltel" no harm no foul? same question with apps/manilas/oem apps.
2. Lets take a cab like PurpleVolume.. How do you OEM something like that with no .lnk or .exe?
3. Bored's GPS fix, I've always had it in UC, I don't know if its in Scotts kitchen or not, but I can't find it if it is. It has multiple .exe's and I don't want it listed in programs.... Is there a procedure for this?

4. I'm coming up with more questions

Thanks bud, The thread has been slow today, so I took a leap and answered most of my questions by trial and error. Needless to say I found a few errors.

Something that I just noticed is the battery indicator is not changing and still showing full charge but I just got my battery low warning.

I used the kitchen and used the windows standard icon.

Reflashing today so its no big deal but thought I would mention it.

I frequently see the same thing (among others). It has been going on for a time, so it's not the 1.6 Kitchen per se, unless it's something carried over from older kitchens.

This topic was discussed a number of pages back (I'll try to find the post number and edit this.

Bob

Just to add to that, the percentage battery icon has no issues reported if you so choose.

Negative- that's the one that I use.

We'll see what happens with my new phone.
