Happy to help!

Enjoy the kitchen, and have fun!

Just an FYI here, i know everyone has a favorite that works best for them, and it really will depend on what you do with your phone... but just for a point of reference... i'm what i would consider a heavy user (in that if i'm not at my desk ((and even when i am at my desk)) i'm using the phone for one thing or another) and have an addiction to the animated TF3D themes, and for me a Page Pool of 12 seems to be my sweet spot.

I'm sure others may chime in and give you an idea of what works best for them, and it really is all dependent on how you use this beast... but i just wanted to give you some sort of a baseline.

Thanks and yes I just played with the 1.2 kitchen and wow that was simple comparing it to the old apache days where I had to run many different batch files and move stuff around. This thing is a no brainer and it even flashes too, lol.

The only question I have is where can i find instructions if they exists on how to add my own apps and /or remove more unwanted stuff if that is even possible?

Sorry if I am reaching to far here

you can add more apps to the kitchen by adding OEM's to the OEM folder... or remove them by not checking them in buildOS.

EDIT: you need to add OEMs here... not CABs... just to be clear.

EDIT-II: You should also read up on the whole SDconfig (UC) over at xda... this is some very powerful stuff. Scott's ROMs and Kitchen fully support UC.

I started off in the apache days, I remember those days... Hehehe... The good ole days. Too easy now, huh?

I would just search out what you are looking for in OEM format. The PPC Kitchen is another good place as well as other kitchens.

I have all of my TT files on my sd card.

If you have just recently been getting these out of mem errors, it kinda sounds more like something you have recently installed... think back to the last few apps you've added, or what was added around the time your errors started.

Was there something in particular that was added that may not be playing nicely with tomtom?

We havent heard this before, and i know there are others that use this app, so it makes me wonder.

Yes, I would actually reccomend UC over making OEM's unless you can find exactly what you need.

Scott - so you did get ahold of a newer ddi.dll? have you seen or do you expect better performance in landscape layout, similar to what people were getting from Da G's Fuze rom?

Agreed... plus i like being able to uninstall it later if i need to, which UC allows you to do... bake it in as an OEM, and it is there to stay.

Guys, I hate to disagree with experts, but I remember what FormerPalmOS said about the number of files put in the window directory and how the quantity of files will slow things down. His current alternate is to put them in \program files.....however, I personally think that putting them on the SD card is even better, unless they really need to be in MainMemory.
Using that UC app, I think will install them into the windows directory.

I am going to edit this shortly (as soon as I find his post) and include the link for anyone who wants to re-read it.
