Still, overall, I seem to be having better luck with 21109 so far.

I agree that 21109 is stable and fast. I stayed with it and just basically re-made 1.2 with the new GPS GPS drivers from the previsou beta 1.5 Beta2 and added things like the ability to pick splash screens, boot animations, carriers, an additional generic black HTC Manila theme. Its like the animated one but not animated. I upgraded the engine to the latest angine so it runs faster now than it did on the beta.

I also have ROM plug in packs that I will upload a few days after the kitchen is out. These plug in packs will include build 21139 aka: WM6.5 and a 20764 plug in pack. You will just need to replace your MO and SYS folders from the kitchen to the build you want. I have integrated the three builds fairly seemlessly with the core kitchen files and OEM pack.

Question for Anyone - I have noticed that when I download a zipped file, it's usually "RAR", not "ZIP". Why do developers use that? Is it because it's not a compressed file like ZIP is?

It compress much better than zip.

Yep...and the real hardcore geeks use .7z...because it's even better compression and the app that does it is free an open source

It also opens RAR files and every other compressed archive under the sun:

Just to let you know my gps on my verizon touch pro is working great. Google maps picked my location probably within 3 seconds. Have some more test to go through bbut soo far soo good and the battery life is superb as always. F.Y.I though i am using the telus radio. Placebo maybe but i like dreaming.
