Exclamation Flash, Hard Reset, then Test Before Loading Apps

Just a reminder to perform a Hard Reset after the ROM flash.

Please do this before posting niggling problems or adding other cabs or software that may be causing problems. If you don't, at least post your changes or omission of hard resetting so we can evaluate the ROM itself without outher variable applications tainting the flashed ROM.

Personally, I had a little trouble downloading (CRC error) and didn't perform a hard reset after the first installation (thinking the ROM flash would accomplish the same thing). I say this because I am a newie to the TP and custom ROMS, Mighty5 seems to be super stable and totally functional.

Also, be sure to read the first page and the changes, inclusions for each version fo the ROM, and known problems and options.

Resco pocket radio seems like a way better alternative to this. HD radio is very nice. There are a ton od stations for free. I finally gave up on Sirius. The lineup just stinks now and HD is free. You can pay to get it commercial free but, it is fine just the way it is for me - monthly bill free.

I cannot tell a lie!! Pandora is working excellently for me on this 6/09 MR5. Now that I'm home I can provide the 2 cabs that I'm using; I installed Pandoraconfirmed.cab first, and when I saw that the graphics were wonky, I unzipped the .exe from VGA-Pandora.zip and overwrote the pandora.exe in the programs folder.

I also did the TCP window reg edit: (HKLM\Comm\Tcpip\Parms\TcpWindowSize=98304) So that my help, but I would really like Mighty Mike to comment on this regedit, cuz his default window size is much larger, and I honestly don't even know what the hell a TcpipWindow is for anyhow lol!

Hope this helps!

LOL...no, he meant this post #6 in the MightyRom4 thread. Here. You'll have to install ezinput to get your SYM key working, then i think NueRom's website has a keyboard tool for what you ask. I'd give you a link but i'm on a military network and his site is blocked for some stupid reason.

Personally, I use the the Office contacts with pocket mirror. It seems to be flawless for me. Activesync and Windows Mobile Device Manager sync all contact folders. I have several folders below contacts and all of them sync. Just make sure to perform regular backups.

Is there any way to enable the autocomplete for the phone to guess the persons number or email address when you are using the keyboard and starting a new text message lor email. on earlier versions i i started to type matt for instance it would pop up suggestions for matt or what not. is there a setting somewhere to fix this? Thanks for all your hard work and great rom!

This is happening because mighty mike removed the keyboard from the rom. So, just install whatever keyboard you like and it will fix that. You can install FingerKeyboard or EzInput from here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...87&postcount=6. There's a lot of talk about this problem in both mighty rom4 and 5 threads. Someone said it can be fixed with a regedit, but a couple people said the regedit didn't work. Here's a thread about the regedit http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=71607
