I am a firm believer in search and i have found that using google to search the site works better but i ended up searching for a few days trying to find a way to flash the exe. rom for sprint stock because my phoe was broke and i couldnt put it in bootlaoder mode. well payed the insurance claim and a day later came across it while searching. and i have learned alot from this site and very rarely post or ask questions. sometimes search doesnt find what u are looking for. and i think i do a very good job narrowing searches using terms to find what im looking for. just wanted to add my to cents. and last but not least great rom mighty. been a mighty fan since about a weeks after i got my phone. flashed a custom rom after the first two day have tried many. and i have found mighty mikes roms to be very good never let me dow yet.

I know someone is probably going to yell SEARCH, as it's probably addressed somewhere in this monster thread, but if it is, my searching skills ain't good enough to find it. So....

I just put the latest MightyROM on my Sprint Touch Pro and I LOVE IT. Just a few issues, one of which is sorta major.

When I close the keyboard sometimes (seems to happen especially in Google Maps) the phone completely shuts off. This never happened on the stock Sprint ROM in all the time I've had it. It's happened in multiple applications (Google Maps, messaging, at least).

Has anyone seen this? Any ideas?

lil_wayne99, I understand what you are saying, the search can be quite temperamental if you are not specific. I try to keep it very concise and seem to get better responses. I just searched this thread for ".exe" and the 6th result in the list had one of the appropriate answers.

I finally took the leap to WM 6.5 (was using MightyROM 4.16). I love the new titanium interface! Plus scrolling using gesture (without using buggy 3rd party programs) is awesome. About time Microsoft updated their crappy stock apps. My battery life is crazy good. Normally my phone would die by the end of the day with light usage. I haven't charged my battery since yesterday morning.

This will make waiting for the Palm PRE much more bearable!

I actually can get used to the not going idle thing. But I really preferred the 7 bar signal meter.

I tried the cab and it did work. I see what you are talking about - the signal arrows do seem kinda jaggy but only upon close inspection. At least I have my 7 bars back now (not that I ever see service like that).

Onto another issue that I DID notice with 5-8 as well as 5-24: sometimes it seems like the e-mail client gets hung up and when I turn the phone on, there's an X in the upper right as if the program is in focus, but I see TF3D. In the taskbar it says "Messaging" and until I close that program, my system tray stuff won't update INCLUDING the new e-mail notification and sound. It didn't seem to come up when I had the single exchange e-mail account. After I added 2 additional POP accounts I recall it starting to happen. Thoughts?

Oh I left it on while on the charger last night and it did not freeze...statistically speaking, even if it never freezes again, it's already doing worse than 5-8 or the stock Sprint ROM, but I'll be thrilled if it never happens again.

Also: Both in 5-8 and 5-24 when I click on a link to open in Opera, Opera first opens to my home page (google mobile) THEN actually goes to the link I clicked. This didn't happen on the stock Sprint ROM. Ideas?

I removed the older signal bars and replaced them with the 6.5 signal icons due to the nice, rounded look of them. Drawbacks of this is that it will always show your data is "active" when in fact it is not!

Great Job Mike! i got used to the new icon it really does look nicer. i just decided to use advanced config to auto disconnect after a given time.

Wow, this rom has given me 0 problems, I had to soft reset the 24th once, but since then this bad boy runs strong, and I use it constantly with 60 cabs or so installed. Dude you should be famous for this great work, well you are in here. Nice Bro! Awesome Rom!

I have an issue with this ROM that is really annoying. For some reason, when I read a text message and try to close the window or go back to the today screen, it hangs on the text message screen for like 30 seconds before it does anything. This is really annoying as its worse with alot of texting. Soft-hard resets havent done anything to help and this is on a bare install, no additional cabs yet. Other than this annoying issue the ROM is great, tho still a bit sluggish.

Thats pretty much all 6.5 roms i believe... to speed it up a little (some times a lot) delete all unneeded text messages.. I mean permanatly remove them from device.. I no once I had 300 messages (most in my delete file) it was almost unusable but once I removed all text only had 1 left it worked like a charm and after about 30 to 60 text build up it slows back down lol (I mean on the 6.5 roms I've used) havent used this one as I cant get wap and mms settings to work :-p

I am using the Diamond background changer, um.... I was using it with Mighty 4:16 and now that I upgraded to the newest MightyRom, it dosen't work.

Anybody know how to make it work?
