i am reading the post to see if i can cook my own rom. and for the ones that have done so, who dificult is to create one? just want opinions i am reading the post on creating it.

This is caused by the email program 'autochecking' your email. Setting the option to Manually send/receive fixes this issue....HOWEVER, if you are like me and need this option then there is another fix.

Start > Settings > Today > 'Items' tab > Uncheck 'Today Timeout'

This resolved the issue for me. FYI this should also work in Copper and Juicy roms as well.

Cooking your own ROM is fairly easy. Getting it optimized like Mike / Juicy is not. I have a decent 6.1 and 6.5 ROM I've been working on for a while. It runs quite well, but I always find myself coming back to Mike's offering.

Hello, I want to say thank you to Mighty Mike and Lil Rico for making the MightyRom 5. I think it is one of, if not the best, rom around.
I do have a question though. Is there a good media player that works with the 6.5 layout. I am used to the touchflo manilla and enjoy the built in media player they have. Is there one that is comparable that works with the 6.5 home screen?

do you have the T9 on when you are using the keyboard to type. I had mine on and it was horribly slow..could type about a 100 characters before the 2 word was done. I turned this off and now its far better...not perfect but night and day difference
