Did you change the pagepool before flashing? You should change it to between 6 and 12. There are also a couple other things you can do to recover some memory since you have a gimped verizon phone. Ram cleaning was talked about yesterday here. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ram#post810254

yep I've updated via quickgps a few times, but it doesn't make a difference. My next option is going to be a hard reset to see if that cures the issue. Could nueGPS be interfering or has that been removed in the latest version?

nope didnt change the pagepool, I am sorry like I said I am new to this and trying to grasp everything so when I read through it dosent all sink in sometimes...I will look in the instructions for how to change the pagepool,or if someone is kind enough to post instructions, but I will be looking to as I do want to educate myself and not just read this stuff! thanks for the help.

Hi,

I currently am running MR 4.16 on my Verizon Touch Pro with pagepool of 6. The only difference in speed you will notice is on start up and with the dialer disabled I get about 50 megs of ram free after reboot. As for a memory cleaning program I suggest HTC Addicts Clean Ram. I use it on level 3 and it works extremely well and is nicely done. Ive updated the file on my Verizon install post so grab it from there. My post will also teach you how to change the pagepool.

this might be a given but if it's corrupt you may want to try downloading it again, probably from a different server just in case it was them not you

unfortunately no, hard reset is as in depth as i know of. anyone else?

Lovin 4.16!!!!! Something weird i noticed on 4.14 4.15 and 4.16 i installed the Instant Messenger Program (Sprint OZ) and it seems this program likes to randomly open itself on my phone. I open task manager and Instant Messaging is open, but i never opened it, and its also not in my Startup group, any ideas or anyone else having this "issue"
