The email thing with direct link to a map is kind of a deal breaker. And this is a personal opinion, not stating that one is better than the other one, etc, etc.

Edit: Of course it is not the one I like the best that is going to be picked. If I continue to use this rom it's whatever the cook likes the best.

If the smartphone tracker is kept in the next release, would you set it to background mode? The way it defaults is to popup a window when you send a text asking for the GPS position. If someone steals your phone, you don't want to tip them off.

It stores the setting in the settings.config and its just the simple line listed below. You can also do this from the configuration gui.

If given the choice, I would rather have nuegps because it runs as a service rather than a process. Plus it doesn't rely on .net. You can make an OEM easily using his instructions here - LINK

Regardless of which you choose, I greatly appreciate you adding a tracking option in. I will continue to use your ROM regardless of which tracker you go with.

The nue only has the sms option, what if I don't have an extra phone available?

that was my point...but what ever...thats why i suggested smart in the first place and so did some one else. and no one gave any other input.

kinda a weird bug. havent seen it listed sides once with sauman, but cant seem to find his post. the volume controls stop controlling volume and start working like up and down arrows... cant get to the volume screen to change the mode by tapping on it either, can however, change it if done while the phone is booting up if done quickly.. tried to install aebutton After noticing this to override it, but doesnt seem to work either. nothing i can think of changed when it started either.

edit: Fixed itself after 4th soft reset. didn't tweak anything. odd.. oh well. chalk that one up to coincidence.

Did you load a a custom theme ? A bug with a theme can do this..

How do we change the right softkey (SMS) to Programs like in the stock ROM? I tried using Advanced Configuration Tool and Diamond Tweak, but they would only let me choose an actual program. I didn't see a selection for Programs in them.
