Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

Okay, is the lag issue with text messaging a WM6 issue, or an issue with Arcsoft? After an uninstall of Arcsoft, it still takes an extended amount of time before I can use the phone again when even just CHECKING text messages (not including sending them).

It's getting to the point where it's taking over 2 minutes to become functional again after hitting the "OK" button in the top right corner while in a text message. If I can't get it fixed, I may have to try a different ROM... :\

I'm surprised to hear that people are having any texting lag. This rom is surprisingly fast when it comes to texting for me. Seems as fast as the 6.1 roms got in the end with virtually no lag.

Thanks for the tip. I am actually ok with the 4 row start menu, just looking to make the curtain options on the top and bottom today screen larger and easier to select. Is there anything out there that addresses that?

Set both values to 18.

or u can use SKTools or DiamondTweak as well
Thanks. Someday when we get an RSS hub (and a few other things I think) that scroll properly in 6.5, we won't really need scroll bars at all. But until then...

Yes, but it appears I have to type it in each time I wish to run debug. I don't understand what happened there.

I dunno about that. I haven't tried any 6.1 ROM other than stock Sprint but MR6 still has the classic 6.5 random freezes. SOME things do seem faster. Hanging up from a phone call is a good example. That is one of the few things that bugged me about MR5 and it seems to respond much better now. I am sure that is the system build talking.

Good question. I have never had a problem with provisioning on MR5 or this MR6. I don't think poor service or 1x-EV switching has anything to do with provisioning.

Re: [July 7th, 2009] MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com

I don't suppose there are any reg tweaks I could try to speed things up? Texting is pretty much unusable, and it's the main thing I use on my phone.
