What is the name of your start icon? I believe that in mighty's rom his is named shellres.192.dll.0409.mui, if yours doesn't have the .0409.mui then rename it to shellres.192.dll.0409.mui and try again...hope that works for you

BTW...Kinoma is now working when installing as the first thing after flashing. I havent installed ALL my apps yet...but I am done customizing and its still working fine.

i was able to verify that my custom taskbar issue is due to the rev a indicator. i disabled rev a on my phone and my custom ev icon shows. guess i'll have to update my phcanoverbmp.dll and include a custom rev a indicator.

GENIUS! This was the problem..in other roms I've used, its shellres.192.dll. Changed it to the one mentioned above...voila!

One more question..kinda dumb but...

on 4.11, I enabled sounds in settings>>today>>sounds and notifications

checked off events (warnings and system events) and programs >> notifcations and screen taps

When I did that on the last rom...I was getting a little sound every time I clicked in the start menu and when I'd select something. sounded almost like wisbar sounds I used to use on a rom for the vogue...I love it.

Cant replicate that in 4.12. Any suggestions.

PS...I use quickmenu...is that a part of quickmenu?

I see that the dialer in 4.12 has the "start recording" option from the menu. Is there a particular cab to get this working? I've tried the various other cabs but most of them have a dialer within the cab which would switch the current dialer.

I reflashed with 4.12 without the card in, then hard-reset, then installed the card and soft reset, and still no go, I have just a 2GB card, and yes I put it into my desktop, and it showed up just fine and dandy.
