I checked in the Windows directory when i first had this problem and could not locate fieldtrial. I DID however locate EPST, but it crashes on launch. I have reflashed with a fresh download of MR6 and still cannot locate fieldtrial. I have no other problems with MR6, but im wondering now if maybe fieldtrial was not included in the release of MR6.

sorry bro...i forgot to tell you that you have to enable the view of all files in the file explorer program. just click on menu and you'll see it

My keyboard just stopped working on me again...Sucks bad...This is going to be my 2nd replacement phone from keyboard failure...7th total overall...LoL...I am going to be switching to Silence Mighty Rom...

ok, next question. I am unable to find the option to show all files anywhere in total commander. I prefer total commander to create shortcuts and perform file operations. Im trying to create a shortcut for the fieldtest program in a folder in my start menu, but i cant see it to create the shortcut in total commander. any help is appreciated.

i've used total commander for years and never seen that option in any version that i've used, but there is an option to "hide files in rom". If that is checked, then it will hide fieldtrial

apparently it hides it while that is unchecked as well. Oh well, ill have to try entering the path manually.

that's odd. mine doesn't hide it. what version TC are you usin? i'm usin v2.51, but there's a newer beta version 2.52b1

im usin v2.51 as well, but i see whats happening now. With show all files not checked in file explorer, total commander had the fieldtrial hidden, as well as a bunch of other files. I just checked again, and I have alot more files in view now that ive enabled show all files in file explorer. It seems that some part of the TC program feeds off the settings in file explorer. Thanks for the help, I can see everything now. Im glad i went back and checked, i was about to start looking for other programs for file operations. lol

wow...i didn't know it did that. sorry bout that. i guess i'm always so used to checking show all files after i flash a rom that i never noticed. thanks...and you're welcome
