Re: [ ROM ] [ CDMA ] [ HERMAN ] [ 06.09.09 ] [ Windows® Build 21731 ] MightyROM5

"Quick question: what's the proper/best way to try out the new Opera Mobile 9.7 beta on this ROM? Do I just do a straight install? Will I end up with two versions? How will it effect things?

I'm just in love with this ROM and not wanting to screw it up, but... the allure of the new beta is too much to take.

I searched but didn't see anything specific about this... perhaps because it's so simple."

Uninstall the previous Opera then install the 9.7. Works for me.

Yes, sometimes. I haven't yet found a pattern/cause. I've read of other people having the same issue, but it doesn't seem to be widespread, so there may be some common link...?

We could use a process of elimination if you're so inclined. I'll list all the non-ROM apps I have installed, you do the same, and we see what we have in common that others don't have installed (assuming they don't have the problem). Hopefully we can at least narrow it down.

Any suggestions for a percentage battery driver cab? I just want the driver, not anything with icons. Specifically I want SPB MS3 to show its icon with 1% increments.

This ROM rocks, thus far I have been using it for 2 weeks and is the best ROM in the internet. Kudos to the developer.

It freezes after I complete sending a text and click "ok" at the top right of the screen to close the sms window to go back to the inbox. This problem was seen when I first flashed the phone with no programs other than what came with the ROM.

Alright, well, that would eliminate any third-party apps. I was pretty sure I hadn't installed anything that did it. It must just be some bug that only crops up once in awhile... hopefully a newer build of Windows Mobile 6.5 will resolve it in the future. For now it sure stinks.

Found the battery driver:

No need to install the control panel. Just the driver works.

I'm using Titanium and trying to figure out if Showaco's weather works with Mighty 5. Does anyone know if it does or doesn't? Currently, it installs, but nothing but the degree sign shows on titanium.

Yes it works fine on MightyRom5. The problem is the url titanium weather uses, expired the other day. Here's the fix http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...ostcount=14416
