Re: [3-9-09] KK's Loaded ROM v1.8 Sprint and Others [OS 5.2.21015 Build 21015] [UC]
Quick question for all of you 1.8 users. In Palringo, are you able to send pictures. Heck, are you able to get the "capture photo" button to do anything at all?

I believe they need it as well, but I can't even get the picture button to do anything. Not so much worried about actually sending as I am seeing if the changes to the camera affected anything else.. like Palringo for example.

the easiest way to find that out would be to undo the changes to the camera through a regedit...then try

Which of course brings up the... so what exactly is different question. (Of course the lazy happy way would be "stock-camera.cab" but I have yet to see one of those around.)

Anyone know how to turn off the auto correct/word suggest when texting. I went into settings and uncheck both of these options but they are still showing up?

search the thread...you'll find that if you toggle the slider on your on screen keyboard from t9 to abc...your issue will be resolved.

TF3D behaving properly...have not had a re-launch. Battery life is good...moderate to heavy use still gets me thru the work day (include internet sharing while tethered AND use of wmwifirouter.)
Some spots, the ROM lags a bit compared to some of the prior versions, but this one is STABLE...thru and thru. Action screen settings app was a bit confusing for me (bit of a noob...) but was able to trial and error my way around that. I saw someone suggested Skyfire earlier...I would use it IF only for flash support...so if the Opera flash support (installable?) was included, I Skyfire will be redundant. Early request for Fennec (Firefox Mobile) I know the first beta just hit Symbian...I figure its never to early to ask! Thnx, great work...love YOUR ROM. This has been my longest ROM relationship to date!!! |
