Those instructions are for the 6.5.1 roms...
I'm cooking a 6.1 which does not require real 6.5 aku
21051 is a 6.1 rom not 6.5.1
I get those (6.5.1) to boot fine with the exception of it not finding a calk diamond tweak cab which I don't know why it would look for that since this is a TP but maybe they are not specific to diamond.

That and I get smeared icons on the "hated" honeycomb.

Again, my rom is only 113MB (6MB PP). I just soft reset into titanium and after everything is loaded I'm sitting at 35MB free.

There are alot of variable to that question whatever you load into your rom will take up memory. whether you use it or not. I use cab files for google maps, mp3trimmer, facebook, and some other just to keep it light. Use Clean Ram to close out programs and free up memory as you use your device.

Will you at least try it? I worked with another geeker for a week and that was his problem. If you take the time and read it say's ALL SYS. I have been building with Calk's stuff for quite some time and have a grrrreat 6.5.1/2.5 rom on my TP as we speak. Just trying to help ya out!

Let me know if you try it and it doesn't work, and we'll figure out what the issue is.

Most of the time the smeared icons come from an overwriting file, you can check "warn on overwrite" to isolate this issue. The tweak cab is due to it not being compatible to a certain package that has been changed in the rom or sys one i believe that doesn't allow Diamond Tweak to run, you can search around and find the official reason for it.

I have searched this thread for rotation-related issues and have seen resolve involving battery cab, etc. However I am not concerned about auto-rotate.

However...

When I slide out my manual keyboard, there is a 6-8 second delay before the screen rotates to landscape. I didnt have this issue in my 23071 and earlier builds.

Any suggestions?

Hello all, I recently flashed the new 23506 rom last week and all looks pretty good except for the fact that I can't get wifirouter started. It just keeps saying "Connecting Data Network..." Can anyone please help with a fix. Thanks

Sounds like a background program causing issues. FIM has been doing that to me.
Or its a glyphcache issue. Made any changes there?
I use the Neo_driverpack3 with great results.

Did you install a carrier cab? I'd use the app NoData to make sure you only have the primary data line enabled. Thats the only issue I've ever had with WifiRouter.

Is it possible to cook a v4.2 2350x rom with IE6 set up exactly like previous 23071 rom or are there compatibility probs? I've not found any COM5 IE6 defaults that will work with some of my programs.

Thats got to be whats messing up FIM for me. Thanks for asking cause I havent tried to change any of this yet.
Anyone finding similar speed & stability w/ 23088? I'm thinking I should hop back to that COM branch.

Running a 23088 right now and it's the bees knees! Sweet. Trying to keep up with the M2.5 porting progress over at xda. They just ported 1921, but haven't seen any feedback on it yet. It's funny when anyone asks for info on a fix to the mms issue, the subject seems to get changed over there real quick like. I think they are more interested in the GUI and stuff. Right now MMS is about the only problem I have with the 2.5 manila.
