I get those (6.5.1) to boot fine with the exception of it not finding a calk diamond tweak cab which I don't know why it would look for that since this is a TP but maybe they are not specific to diamond.

That and I get smeared icons on the "hated" honeycomb.

Read it carefully, ALL SYS require that now as I'm using a 6.5 nk in the 6.1 builds also

Your not going to find a answer because no CDMA OEM has released a ROM with the necessary settings to use with HTC messaging, so unless you do what I did on the TP2 ROM(works sending through Album only), it's not going to work as you need to find the right IP to put in the IP reg key. But I said in the past, Telus & Alltel might work if you use the settings I included

Ok, so I've seen that several people have been able to get Manila 2.5 incorporated into Calk's 4.2 kitchen, but haven't really seen any one give detailed instructions on how to do it. Could anyone get me pointed in the right direction? (I've used Kitchens before but new to Calk's).

The only problem is your going to have to add a lot of new packages, original WVGA Manila files, converted VGA Manila files, make sure you have it all ordered so older files don't overwrite newer, make sure you have all the proper files getting moved to the right places, etc.

I've tried to lets others use my packages and given them exact instructions and them have no success and face problems then they should. If you know what your doing them just jump over to the VGA Manila 2.5 Thread and start to work or PM me and I'll upload everything I use. I have BG4All, No Curtains, Transparent Sliders and a few different clocks.

hey what's the difference between "Autorun" and "RUNCC" oem's in the kitchen..im guessing autorun configures the rom to microsoft stds and RunCC to calks prefrence? and what exacly do they both tweak..have anything to do with final GPS settings or battery?...thnx!

The v4.2 kitchen file cannot be upzipped by 7-zip. I've downloaded twice and had the same problem. Is the original file corrupted?

Re: [ 11-10 ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROMs

I've got MMS working fine in my build, but of course not through the Manila messaging interface. I don't consider that a big deal, as the manila messaging in HTC Framework is slooow on our crap 580mhz CPUs, and I prefer the snappier performance of the WM messaging tools. But the rest of 2.5 is a joy, I prefer it over 2.1 with no reservations.

And as far as integrating Manila 2.5 builds from the XDA thread, it's a bit complicated, and there are a lot of potentials for error (because there are so many packages with dependencies), but I'm a noob, only been cooking with BuildOS and Calk's Kitchen for a few months, and I was able to do it and get a very stable and fast ROM.

What I had to do was read most of the posts on the XDA thread, download the relevant packages which include the VGA ports and the original Leo WVGA dumps, and then plan out how to integrate them in the kitchen so the VGA files overwrite the WVGA ones wherever they need to. I did that by numbering the EXT package directories in the order I want them to build. Besides that it was trial and error. Also, since some of the packages have DSM files, I had to delete all of those or the build would fail.
