FYI, 219XX is based on an older tree with some UI updates -- most of which have already been implimented in 21820. What hasn't been implimented are not yet stable. So really you're just getting an older tree base with less stable features. Interesting to mess with, but not really worth the effort. The 218XX tree is really what you want at this point in time.

interesting, i'd like to see what the ui updates consist of. I am going to need to get the phone stable eventually. at least during the weekdays (then i'd be a weekend warrior!)
I'm still working on my project to build a mad fast OS. Problem is I don't know enough about CE OS in general. am still wondering why the CE OS is 5.2 rather than 6.xx. I should follow up with No2Chem about it. I want to check out Calkulins next kitchen when released

Your best bet is to talk to Da_G about it. He's the one with all the fresh build leaks lately. He's got several unreleased builds that he has deemed unfit for leaking due to some of the issues I've described. You should follow his posts in the 6.5 developers thread.

Snappy render time? were you running the new Opera beta that was included in the kitchen?
it was by far THE fastest browser available
