Thanks

Re: [ May 17 \ 21046 & 21232 v1.7 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

ive got something going on with "Calkulin's Touch Pro 21232 Kitchen v1.7"....

i downloaded the kitchen and got an error with a .dll file, that made my rom not to boot and had something to do with the grelock.exe file. so i decided to redownload the kitchen and the same thing happens with the kitchen..... here are my steps:

1. downloaded and extracted the .rar file to the desktop/
2. opened up the kitchen folder and clicked on the .cmd file to start the kitchen menu.
3. then i selected the oems that i wanted in the kitchen and built my rom, then i closed build os.
4. (this is when the problem occurs) after closing build os, it says reallocating files and then i get a pop up saying "Cannot open file C:\Users\OWNER\Desktop\Calkulin's Touch Pro 21232 Kitchen v1.7\temp\dump\corsecproviders.dll\tmp."

and then, i havent gone further after that, as a matter of fact, i still have the pop-up up, i wouldnt be surprised if i continue i get the same error with grelock! anybody has anything the same?

EDIT: After i close the pop up, i get another pop up named G'reloc v1 beta, and it has some rectangles to input some sort of values of some sort, and has a "Doit!" button. i press the x button and then it continues to build my rom. even though it says successfully made, it doesnt boot!

Well it took me many builds to figure out that i can leave the Volume Control Calk put in the kitchen and then when the device boots, you have to go into the registry and fill in the empty
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\Servic es\HTCVolumeControl\Module
to
\Windows\HTCVolumeControl.dll

single slashes, soft reset and the HTC volume control is now visible, instead of Stanard WinMo

i previously switched out the OEM for Volume from another kitchen and it gave me a stock white looking volume control, conflicting with the 3D taskbar icons. While i could only get it to work after enabling HTC phone pad.

I'm going to try this fix in a while... If this works, it should be bumped/stickied, as this has been a problem w/6.5 forever.

Trying to fix weirdness w/status icons now: my battery and data connection icons are cutoff; reg. entry of sorts.

Thanks, I hope

Re: [ May 17 \ 21046 & 21232 v1.7 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

Since moving on from that issue I updated the Opera on the phone to build 16277 and it works great, but Windows Marketplace wont launch anymore, saying:

"One or more components can't be found"

So i thought it was a saved html in the /Windows or in the Kitchen, i even looked at file associations and etc, no dice

On Opera build 16277/ if i Search in Google for client.marketplace.windowsmobile.com and link from there, Marketplace loads fine But the Icon itself for Marketplace wont launch it.

any help on the dependencies or associations its making so i can change it?

Here is the OEM for Opera 16277/w working flash, for Calkulins Kitchen, if anyone wants to try it out

When building just rename one 000-opera.png to 000-opera2.png (as 000-opera1.png is something else) as it will give you an error otherwise, once renamed the build goes on like normal

I've always found that the best Opera build was Opera 15746 made for Omnia. it's got the transparent zoom on the right side of browser that allows you to zoom much easier by sliding your fingers up and down.

Do I have to reflash to get Flash back or can I just copy those files over to the /Windows?

I've never really paid atention to the Opera version, hehehe. I think it's because I don't really care about the flash thingy... But it is good to try different things, so thanks Deimoss for posting that.

On the other hand I haven't cooked/flashed anything in a while... My last one using 21502 and SPB3 has been rock solid. However I think it's time to do something... I'm getting itchy, hehe.

Its not working for me, I get the standard WM volume control in the bubble.
HTC volume control is disabled if the HTC dialer is disabled because it does respond like it's suppose to with the WM dialer
