Well it took me many builds to figure out that i can leave the Volume Control Calk put in the kitchen and then when the device boots, you have to go into the registry and fill in the empty
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\Servic es\HTCVolumeControl\Module
to
\Windows\HTCVolumeControl.dll
single slashes, soft reset and the HTC volume control is now visible, instead of Stanard WinMo
i previously switched out the OEM for Volume from another kitchen and it gave me a stock white looking volume control, conflicting with the 3D taskbar icons. While i could only get it to work after enabling HTC phone pad.
