How many have had problems with their TP ?

So far, I have had 5.

1. Chrome fell off like cheap spray paint.
2. My fault, water.
3. Data quit working, sprint replaced as if it was a known issue.
4. Keyboard quit working.
5. New unit in box, had faulty space key.
6. Still waiting on replacement unit.

I have had a 6600, still use a 6700, and now the Touch Pro.
I have to say the TP is the lowest quality so far.

What are your opinions?

risc .. I LOVE THE TP BUTTTTTT ... I am on my 4th Replacement as well (Mainly all due to the Keyboard Stop Working) ... Merdin told me the keyboard used for the TP is a poor choice, and a heavy emailer and/ or texter will eventually have problems ... I have had 3 keyboards go out on me . I got a replacement last week, so hopefully this one lasts!!! Other than the Keyboard, I do love this phone, especially running Merdins Roms.

-- Very frustrating. What is HTC doing here? I noticed a long time ago, on my 6700, I was able to overclock it without a problem, but in the later versions they were very unstable. Not sure if they went with cheaper parts or what. I've seen the quality slowly decline since then. But you are correct, Merdin makes it all worth it.

I just had a lockup with the new 6.1 ROM after which it would no longer boot. I forgot to hard reset after flashing, so hopefully that is the cause.

I'm really liking this ROM. I'm not 100% sold on the customized manila interface, but it's starting to grow on me. Other than the forced hard reset (probably my fault), the performance is solid and no real bugs to report. I wish you included HTC Album 3.0 rather than 2.5, but I installed 3.0 Album myself and it works perfectly.

Any reason why you didn't include the new Topaz dialer, Comm Manager, and World Clock fix?

Topaz dialer is not fully funtional yet, Wroldclock fix without topaz dialer causes problems, Album 3.0 still buddy.
