I dont believe you are on the latest version, please update to version 4.1 either red or blue.

Is there any way to call someone through bluetooth. I can't seem to find anything to set up voice recognition. I am using 6.5 Beta. Am I just not finding it?

Merdin, did you ever make a new lite red version that was not tp2? I think i am going to go back to 4.0 for now until some more kinks get out of tp2, but i did remember that 4.0 lite had the bluetooth/internet bug.

So i guess in short, i am asking if you plan to, or made a red light 4.1

Have you installed any additional programs or used any other backup feature which may restore your programs settings from version 4.0 if so then you will have to soft reset but first backup with pim backup.
I personaly am not having this issue on 4.1 nor has anyone reported this issue since the release on the 29th.

Thanks very much for your help you were rigth i did have version 4.0 i dont know why cuase when i downloaded it im pretty sure it said 4.1 but i got the latest one and works perfevt thanks for your support you are the man

For giggles I tried the 6.5 rom today and its surprisingly functional. Last time I tried a 6.5 rom it was too laggy to be used every day. This one is quick enough that I may just keep it. It still has the same annoying text message "bug" where it doesn't mark texts as read if you have multiple texts from one person until you manually select each one or go in and out of the thread for each message. I've searched through the registry trying to find a key or hint but so far nada.

Other than that its near perfect.

Okay, I have but one complaint about this ROM.

Sending txt messages to multiple people.

I am using 4.1 Red version. I have hard reset 3 times, reflashed 2x. I have also tried it with NO applications installed and no backups restored.

This is the problem that I have. When you attempt to select multiple people to send a txt message to, say 4 or so, the device does not recognize the people and attempts to send the message with no recipient. I have also had the txt message screen lock up on me several times when trying to do the same thing.

The only way I have found around this is to actully hit the "To" box and select the contacts through the contact program. Whenever I try to type the contact name in from the txt messaging screen and just click their name as it pops up (the auto complete kinda thing) I have the txt issue.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I use mass txt messages every day for work and this one thing is killing this ROM for me. I didint have the problem with the previous version, just with this one. Any ideas?

Use the regular text messaging feature do not use the new manila one because its still not fully working.
