It's 7:22am, Saturday, April 11, 2009, in NYC. The weekend is almost gone. I've been refreshing my browser all night in hopes of seeing a Merdin post, verifying that the new rom has been posted. I feel like such a 1990's crackhead. I need a fix, but I don't wanna waste my time sampling another product!!!

i had 3.7 on my alltel tp and upgraded to 4.1 lastnight now my phone has problems i with my internet,, " cannot connect for unknown reason. to check your connection settings and change them it needed tap settings" ect..its dialing #777 all looks ok in settings cant fugure it out....any help?

first off...did you do a hard reset. should always do one after flashing a rom. Click on start-settings-sytem-clear storage. That might fix your problem. If it doesn't, then post back.

bugs so far include the strobe on high setting on flashlight mentioned above. also, the phone forgets its in landscape mode with keyboard out after 3-4 seconds and flips bak to original. soft reset fixes.

tp2 issues are there but these are obvious and have been discussed (and possibly fixed in the newest 1d of the port) so not worth mentioning here.

anyways i tried juicy 5 and a couple other roms and just like many other users, decided to stay on this one! this is a very nice setup you got here!

my only question is how do you change file exploreer and mcenter? i use neither of those and its not an easy change in settings. this is an issue for me with all roms as the guys who cooked them change these two important fields. i tried uninstalling the tsowen taskbar and that brought 'phone' back but ruined lots of other things.

Use your favorite registry editor and change these to the program you want.
Goto HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila


HomeLSKPath -> Left Home Key
HomeLSkText

HomeRSKPath -> Right Home key
HomeRSKText


Path = Program to run
Text= Label on Home Screen

I just install Diamond Tweak and you can rename those soft buttons. it has some other settings I use also so it's easier than going thru the registry everytime I flash.
