My question now is simply, did Hibby's rom inlude the maps or just the program? If it included the maps as well, then I fully understand it being bad. If it did not include the maps, then he was well within the rules of posting his rom as far as I can tell and people are jumping the gun. Where is the line being drawn? Also, doesn't the whole TT7 issue smell exactly the same as the whole Picture mail issue that just recenly went down a couple months ago? Both have been dumped from roms. If you ask me, lines are starting to get very blurry around here.

Hibby, that gold theme is giving me seizures. You should leave the stock theme in there and let people install their own. Adding Diamond TF3D Config would help, too.

The rom did not include the maps it was just the program itself.

Yeah well i agree with you, but...

the staff has made a decision that TT7 is not allowed to be included in any ROM

cause we do not want any counts of copyright infringment resting on our shoulders here.

Lets try not to dwell on this subject any longer, and respect the decision (even if you dont agree )

It was decided long ago (with the Mogul I believe) that TT7 is not allowed in any cooked ROM's. Nothing blurry about it.

We got a cease and decist order about Picturemail from the developer, again how is that blurry???

Understand that I fully back the decisions of the mods...well 99% anyway. My reason for questioning is not that I agree or disagree but that I am looking for the basis for why certain OEM's can or can not be included. Consider this a way to possibly prevent future problems and make the requirements clear. Right now there is little to no clarity other then "the mods decided it was so". This would be fine under normal curcumstances but since people are making custom roms, it would be helpful to have actual reasoning beihnd thier decisions.

Ohh Well.. It is what it is. Im just glad i got the rom before it was pulled down.
