What you do off the site is of no concern to them. Just don't have it hosted on here and dont advertise it being in your rom from now on and you will be good. Anyone asks for it on the side its up to you what you do, it only you at risk then instead of the community.

I am all for being legal, but I am seriously not getting how this issue is being handled. You allow the OEM to float around based on "If you are an owner of TT7 you may use the OEM to incorporate it into your own ROM" but you have no way of verifying that everyone downloading from your site is in fact an owner. Yet, you forbid Hibby from posting his rom that includes the OEM. What is the difference between this and the other? The same people can DL at any time. The OEM link is in fact "distributing" exactly like Hibby's.

By the way, I am not arguing, I am trying to understand.

as I don't have TT7 I don't know for sure, but maybe a serial has to be cooked into the rom to make it work? just like a lot of the OEMS in PPCKITCHEN you have to register them after you flash unless you cook the serial into them. could also be an issue of having the updated maps in them etc. honestly most gps software is really cheap/free but its the maps that you pay through the nose for. its like how its fine to post a nes emulator but not to post the games.
