Has the issue with scrolling pictures in TF3D on the pictures tab been fixed with the final build?

Re: JD's ROM

I dont know if its a coincidence, but ever since I installed this rom i have been getting a text message almost every hour from the number "9103" and it simply says "WVCI 1.1 aim" Anyone know what this is about?

NM, figured it out. For those of you who dont know, if you dont sign out of the OZ aim client before changing to this rom, then you will get these messages. So sign out of OZ aim BEFORE you flash to this rom.

Man this rom is smoking, I didn't try release 4, but definately feels a little quicker than ver. 3.

nice work, go get some rest.

Search on the forums and you might find it. I know it has been brought up multiple times so I am pretty sure there is a cab someplace but I have no idea where.

Re: JD's ROM

I don't know what just happened. I have flashed this thing about 6 times with no problem. When I tried to flash to JDTP5 it kept hanging on me @ 11%, 22%, 23%, and 38%. So I tried a hard reset and reset my pc (XP SP3) and it still wouldn't work. I said %$&@ it and grabbed the 1GB card that came with it to flash from the card. I kept getting an error that would flash up and I thought it said something like "no image file". I kept trying because I thought I was doing it wrong. Then I thought for a second...format the card to FAT32 like you did on the Mogul dumba$$. JDTP5 is loading up now.

Great ROM man. Fast as hell.

Quick question though, is anybody else noticing the selection color of the Start Menu periodically changing from gray to green?

All the software that has been added / removed is on the first page of this thread. All that Sprint stuff is removed.

It's no big deal, just a a little something I noticed. But again, nice job.

Yea I'm finally back to ppcgeeks now that I've purchased the Pro. I had switched from my old Touch to the BB Curve a couple months back so that might explain my disappearance.

Re: JD's ROM

Yea man it's funny, the things that drew me away from WinMo are the same things that brought me back actually.

I thought I was tired of the flashing and customizing and tweaking, wanting something stable like the BB OS that just worked out of the box. But after awhile... it just got boring.

I'm waiting for the FINAL, the real FINAL update on this so I can give it a go to attempt at my first ROM flashing on a phone. It may have been answered somewhere in here, but I hear it speeds up the phone a lot, but what about the battery usage? Does it help any? Any of those tweaked registry edits included in this rom?

Stupid me, activesync crashed and I didn't even realize it. Rebooted Windows, all is well. Great ROM!

Hey JD, first of, thanks for the time and effort you have put into these roms!!!! Well just to state my concern though. Has anybody come across the issue of selecting multiple files in file explorer or even selecting multiple messages in the mail inbox with your finger. its not working for me. I'm running JDTP5...????

I am having the same issue. Selecting multiple files or messages is impossible. However, I am still able to select text using my finger as normal if that helps you at all.

Edit: Running JDTP5

everytime i pull up messages tab in tf3d it wants shuts down tf3d. texts tab is also not working with the keyboard pulled out. I think it has something to do with me saving the PIMs in Resco Backup and trying to restore them. Any suggestions?

JD...thank you for this ROM, it is just what I want in a ROM. We all tend to go "flashing crazy" from time to time but I believe my TP is exactly where I want it now with your ROM. Thanks a bunch.

Try hard resetting, turn off TF, run your restore, and then soft reset before reloading TF. I had the same problem and that worked for me.

the audio manager seems to lag for me. When I go to albums, it lags. I didn't have this problem with the stock rom.

Thanks for this awesome ROM. I don't know if it's a bug but I noticed the following:

I always set up the Long Press End Key to lock the device but when I try to lock the phone, it takes me to owner info and doesn't lock the phone anymore. Is there any way I can make it work like before?

I believe the first time (or couple of times) you go to the audio manager screen the phone will scan your device for audio. Once it runs its course, the lag should be gone. That's what happened on my phone.

Re: JD's ROM

there seems to be a small bug in the texting function with the Compact QWERTY keyboard. sometimes when i type something, what i type disappears and i don't think it's there so i retype it. when i hit the send key, what i thought disappeared ends up being sent together with what i just typed. also. the scroll bar wasn't working properly in normal width mode. when i slid my finger down to get it to scroll, it wouldn't. i had to make the bar wider then it worked perfect. i didn't have this problem with stock.

other than those small issues, i'm totally shocked at how much faster this rom is than stock. and for those of you still having problems with picture mail, mine works fine with the latest cab from sprint. i didn't have to install an older one then upgrade like some of said. there are still some little quirks with it but they are the exact same quirks than with the stock. the one thing i really hoped this rom fixed was the announcements for incoming calls with voice command. it didn't. bummer.

Any one else encountering this?

I have multiple (3) appointments for today with very little time in between. On the home screen of TF3D it shows the first appointment, but upon flipping up the clock it doesn't show the other 2. I have changed the options of the calendar to allow it to show upcoming appointments instead of just the next appointment, and if I just enable the default calendar plugin, all 3 appointments show correctly, but in TF3D only 1 shows.
