JD, great work on the rom, i like the things in it. I do have a question for you however.

Have you attempted to address the bluetooth connection with the stock rom where the bluetooth is ALWAYS on, causing severe battery drain? I know that was an issue with the stock rom and i wanted to know if you even attempted to tweak it before i flashed.

This rom is pretty good. I have found a few glitches though. the first one involves the pictures tab on tf3d. it only allows viewing of 3 pictures before it relaunches tf3d. also when using opera in landscape mode, the remember password popup does not display any text. not sure if either of these issues can be fixed on your end but thought i would point them out. thanks for your work on this.

IF anyone releasing a rom or kitchen wants me to mirror the file(s), let me know. It has a great transfer rate and its much better than downloading from rapidshare or sites like that. Feel free to PM me. I will host any file having to do with PPC's. I can also give you an FTP account so you can upload directly if needed.

ok i've hit a little problem. I installed WkTask like i always do, went to programs and tried to open it, it froze my phone as soon as i clicked on it. i soft reset and now its fromzeon on the black HTC logo. any ideas?

EDIT:

just hard reset my phone and it still is freezing...

EDIT 2:

the screen it freezes at now is the screen that tells you what the radio is. dunno if that helps anyone though lol

I have been running this for about 1.5 hrs and no problems, other than having to install Picture Mail.cab. I noticed the File Explorer move and like that you did that since the first thing that I install is Resco Explorer. I have not had a single problem, this thing is quick. I will report back in a few hours when I get everything else installed. I haven't done much yet as I was checking stability. Thanks for making me fall in love with the Touch Pro all over again. :notworthy:

Rom is super fast but i noticed something and im not sure if it was brought up yet the total storage memory only says 122.04mb with about 30 in use and 92 left

Wow, just noticed that. My program memory is 203.34 MB with 159.40 MB in use and 43.84 left. I only installed Diamond Tweaks, Picture Mail, Resco Explorer (to Storage Card), and Links (to Storage Card also)

Good work! I haven't flashed yet and may wait a day in case some bugs arise. It's not that big of a deal to do it on my own but I would like to see Live Search added back in and the new picturemail cab. I wouldn't call either one Sprint bloatware.

Not having the program memory issue...203.24 total, 73.57 in use, 129.67 free.

Maybe it has something to do with Diamond Tweaks? Did you change your cache settings?

Attempted to update PRL (even though I know it's not available) and get:

When running stock, it at least ran and attempted to find an update and report back there was none available.

Okay guys, sorry I haven't been responding, but the ROM is outstanding, just missing my RSS feeds :( Also, I'll update my RUU/ ROM.rar that I uploaded last night/ this morning so it contains the most current version...... Reading though a couple of pages I can see people also wanting some of the Stock Sprint cabs so I come with gifts.. lol... Here they are in one .zip file.

Before I forget I'm having a weird issue also.... Its with my text messaging signature.... Every time I use TF3D to reply to a text message the signature doesn't come up and I have it check for it to show signatures in forwarding and replies etc. Now if I'm in the ALL messages/ inbox and hit reply it shows up. A bit annoying, so I was wondering if anyone has a fix for that and the RSS cab would also be valuable to me as well. Thanks in advance.

Hey JD.. I have a question. I used your unlocked rom to build from. I wanted to remove a few more things (adobe, streaming player, etc.) I used DogGuy's Kitchen to break down the .nbh and recomplile it. The problem I'm having is that the rom now will not flash. I'm getting an error in the RUU tool saying Error 244: Invalid Model ID. Can you or anyone else help me with this? Thanks a bunch.

look in the tools folder in dg's kitchen and edit the titan.txt file to say RAPH8000

Thanks JD... that worked like a charm. Is there a cab for manila. I think I would like to remove it to see how well a base rom would run. Do you have any plans on making a base rom at some point?

So far everything is smooth, except for the few bugs that have already been posted. I did run into one issue, which is pretty minor. I cannot download the picturemail app because when I use explorer, sprint sees my phone as a Diamond. When i use Opera, it sees my phone as an "unknown phone" (lol).

Anyway, i downloaded the Diamond picturemail app and it wouldn't allow me to send a picture (app not support on this platform error).

Can someone post the user agent string for the Touch Pro?

Also, JD can you update your ROM with the Touch Pro user agent string (assuming that this is why the phone was not identified correctly).
