Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
Wanted to add in what it ended up taking to end my pain and suffering.
After I managed to get the stock Sprint rom flashed, I attempted to unlock both via the RUU and SD card method. I started getting error code 262. Eventually I uninstalled ActiveSync, moved the USB cable to another port, disabled the advanced setting under Connections->USB to PC on my phone, and removed the MicroSD card I had installed. I ended up back in the loop with error 260 twice and had to reflash the stock rom to fix it both times. Only after I had done all of that was I able to run the RUU again to unlock my phone. I was then able to install the 1.04.05 radio and MightRom 4.16. This was by far the post complicated unlock and flash I've ever had to do. Guess I was spoiled with nueSPL on my Titan and the easy SD card flash on my other two Touch Pros. (First one I had the screen was loose from the keyboard section, second one had the oild spots and chipping chrome with charging issues.) Hope this helps anyone who has similar issues. My phone is now working without issues. *Knocks on wood* Thanks again for the help! |

1. Save Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe into a folder on my desktop (it's easier to find that way). 2. Run Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe (from the folder on the desktop). 3. My TP was in that endless "Loading ..." gray screen. This is not good. 4. Soft reset my TP (stylus in the little hole on the bottom of the TP). 5. Copy SSPL-Manual.exe to the "My Documents" folder on my TP (in main memory -- not the SD card). 6. Go to the folder on my desktop that contains Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe and locate the RUU_Signed.nbh file. 7. Copy RUU_Signed.nbh and rename it to RAPHIMG.nbh. 8. Copy the new RAPHIMG.nbh to the root folder on my SD card (my directory is "\Storage Card"). 9. Disconnect the USB cable to my TP. I'm not sure if this is necessary, but I did it. 10. On my TP, I went opened file explorer and navigated to the "My Documents" folder (from step 5). 11. Run SSPL-Manual.exe and follow the steps. I believe I had to hit the power button to complete it. After all that I went into bootloader mode (volume down + power + stylus on the soft reset hole) to verify that it had that cym... at the end of 37. After about 5 hours of searching, trying, cursing, etc. .... I was glad to finally unlock it. I hope this helps someone else. These forums are a life saver for me! |

May I ask why you're relocking it. Have you already flashed a stock rom? |

Ok, I'd been having problems with my TP randomly hard resetting. Read somewhere that it could have been an issue with my SPL and to relock then unlock. OK, well without reloading the stock rom.... I relocked... Now I can neither unlock again nor load any rom (as it is locked)... am I bricked or is there a way out of this? Help Pls... thanks!

If bricked, since this is only a 3 week old phone can I take to to a sprint store for return (it does have locked loader on it, only won't boot) or would I be better off using my insurance on it? Hoping this is recoverable but won't be surprised if it isnt... |
