Problem..After following everything to a tee. When I turn my phone on all I get is the start screen that says TOUCH pro2. It just sits there and ges no further. I really need some help on this. After running the unlock software with no problem I used a custom rom from xda that was well liked the file name is EnergyROM_21885_RHODIUM_25.Dec.2009_StandardM2.5.r ar

If you used the unlocker in Post #1 here, you used the wrong unlocker. From what I understand is that you have a TP2, not the TP.

If you do have the Verizon/Sprint TouchPro2, then use the unlocker located here: http://rhodiumw.htc-unlocks.com/hard-spl.php

Make sure you use this one, not the GSM version. Use only one made for CDMA phones. I think that using a GSM unlocker on a Verizon/Sprint TP2 will brick the phone.

If you do have a TP2, I'm not sure what you did to the phone and can recover.

If you actually have the original TP, then ignore all the above because it doesn't apply to you.

Hey guys i just picked up a sprint touch pro that has some issues and needs to go to HTC's repair company(pcd) for repairs under warranty, it had the stock rom, i didn't try to flash anything on it but i do see in the bootloader

not sure if that's the stock spl or not, when i had a tp before it had spl 0.37 and the same goes for the unlocker in the first post.

does that seem right or should i do anything before i send it for repairs ?

.40 is a stock spl, just a newer one. you're good to go.

Thanks alot i'll send it out. there are so many problems with it, i hope they wont say anything and just fix it all or replace it lol

by the way is that spl available to relock ? when i get it back im sure im gona flash some roms on it and it would be nice to be able to reflash back to stock spl if needed to return for warranty repairs. i tried a quick search but didn't really find anything.

just relock with the 37 relocker in the first post of this thread and you'll be good to go. the 40 spl is in the newest sprint rom on the htc website if you really want it though. Once you relock with the 37 relocker, you download and flash the newest sprint rom on the htc site and it will change your spl to 40. But it's completely unneccesary
