Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
I don't think you need to be a registered user on the sight in order to download builds. anyway here are some links from Neopeek's sight.
[New Test-Release][CyanogenMod6] | Neopeek - Network [ROM][FroyoRedux-Port][CM6] | Neopeek - Network just click on any of the mirror links in the first post and you should be able to download these builds. Keep in mind that these builds are not final and are still under testing. They seem pretty stable based on the users posts. |

Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
Well, I got SuperF to boot off of my Touch Pro (CDMA Sprint) but it got so darn hot I got scared and powered it down.
I tried it on my Touch Pro2 (CDMA Sprint) and it locks up on boot. Very nasty lockups. Will give these new builds a try. I kinda like the idea of having a partition. Wonder if everything can be partitioned ext2 except for a small FAT32 for HARET to boot off of... EDIT: Got em, thanks! Are you creating the 64mb linuxswap? I didn't on SuperF is it required on these 2 builds? Last edited by m4f1050; 09-22-2010 at 07:21 PM. |

Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
Is your Touch Pro 2 overclocked at all? I had my TP1 overclocked (in Windows) and the second I booted Haret, it would freeze up automatically. So for now, I removed the overclock so I could mess around with the Android partition.
As far as the Linux swap partition, I didn't create it. I don't know exactly what it is for, so I didn't bother with it. I just tried to keep the install as simple as possible. I don't believe it is required either, so I just left it out. Also, if it seems slow, just reboot it a couple of times. It will get faster after 2-3 boots. Oh yeah forgot to mention about the partition sizes. If I remember correctly, I recall reading that if the ext2 partition was bigger than 512 if wouldn't boot up. No, Touch Pro2 is not overclocked, and startup.txt doesn't have overclock instructions either....Normal 528mhz and yes, I created a 409mb ext2 partition. 1.5gb fat32...

No, I have not tried messing with the bluetooth yet, sorry. Edit: I Just tested it and it is not working. It should work fine with the Diamond. The only difference is that you would be using internal storage rather than an sd card to boot. Try going to Neopeek's website, the links are a few posts above. There a people there that have had success using the Diamond. There people reporting that mic and speaker are not working but one poster on Neopeek's site got it working by changing the kernels. Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
I am testing FroyoRedux and...
Wifi is extremely slow, don't know why...slower than 3G! 170k/sec on dslreports I can't find the camera icon, do I need to download one off of Market? 3D works! ShootMe and Quadrant (both don't work on xdandroid builds) work Pandora (don't work on this or any xdandroid build I have tried) Same LauncherPro Plus bug where I loose icons to a box with android guy Had to switch to 240 resolution, on 210 fancy widget looked weird... Only down side is phone, top row is a bit chopped off, but no biggie... Still testing... Can you tell me if the Cyanogenmod6 has these bugs? If not I would like to switch to that one and test it as well... EDIT: I just turned Airplane mode on, turned Wifi on and it's working fast. Going to try to turn Airplane off and then wifi on to see if it has anything to do with it... Last edited by m4f1050; 09-23-2010 at 11:34 AM. |

Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
I know I'm late to the party but I figured I'd see if I can breathe some new life into my TP - one of the big problems I am having is the battery display refuses to be accurate, even if I know it has a charge it tells me it is under 15 percent charged. Any suggestons?
