Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
I am preparing my phone with the OP's releases and was just asking what ROM he recommended to have on the device, I don't see why you haunt me saying everything I post is OT.

Honestly not trying to haunt you... you just seem to have a knack of asking stuff that's not really related to the OP.

Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
On topic: It didn't boot..... I created the ext2, extracted the content to this ext2 (and yes, then 2nd partition, the 1st partition was FAT32) I got to a loop, Looking for SDCard or something like that...
Testing the SuperF... Going to try another SDCard to see if it boots... Is it supposed to have working camera due to working 3D? Off topic: I asked him what ROM to use because I have had problems with some builds with specific WM Roms installed on the device, I wanted to make sure I could get the minimal WM Rom that did work tested by him or others, but I didn't see any posts with this info so I decided to ask the OP himself. I think it is OT (ON TOPIC) the question I asked. And the minimal part was to cut down on boot time but still have the required WM drivers for this build to work. BTW, I am not testing just this build and device, I have 4 devices I test and a few other builds, I have like 4 different SDCards I switch back and forth, I think one of these cards doesn't work, I've had this loop happen to me before, I swear.... |

No worries, sorry for bustin your chops.
These builds are trickier tho - what size did you make the FAT32 & ext2 partitions? Have you tried the classic delete of your data.img? |

I started with fresh, no data.img and used the startup.txt for my device. I am playing with the USB startup.txt of the TP2 right now though, will come back to this after I get the headphones working on the TP2 which I use as MP3 player |

If I remember correctly, you are supposed to extract the contents to the fat32 partition. I used xdandroid build for a week or so and noticed there are other builds out there that I could also tinker with that were harder to install, like this one for example. Getting this build to run was surely a little more difficult with the extra partitions and stuff. If you like, Neopeek is working on new builds for testing as we speak. Here is the link if you want to give it a go: [New Test-Release][CyanogenMod6] | Neopeek - Network |

Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
Hmmm, ok, I'll jump on the newer builds...but I thought the instructions of SuperF said to create the ext2 partition, give it ext2 volume name and to extract the files to it... then to download the Haret-Packet and that went on the FAT32 partition... But yeah, I'll check out the newer builds...
Thanks. |

Re: [Android Froyo][CyanogenMod6-Ports by Neopeek]
What os are you using? I use windows 7 and I know that the ext2 partition does not even show when my phone is plugged in my computer.
I made the exact same assumption but I realized that I could not extract nothing to the ext2 partition through windows because it is not even available. This is what led me to extract to the fat32 and run the npkinstall from there. Hope this helps. I actually plan to install the new build tonight. I have to start from scratch and create my partitions again so i'll let you know how it goes. |

I'm running Windows 7. I am using Paragon Partition Manager 10 Personal Edition to create the partition and access it with ext2fsd. Search for Paragon, the one I used was purchased by a company I used to work for and I got a copy from them... the ext2fsd website is
