Hmm well that's what I use myself. Have you installed any additional packages (such as HTC Notifications)?

I would try doing Task 29 and reflashing again. If that makes no difference then install Arcsoft MMS from post 2 and see if that changes anything. Anyone else seen or heard about a problem such as this? |

Yeah I task 29'ed same issue. The light will turn off for awhile, then when it gets stuck in its loop a reset will take care of it for another short time.
Text messages still go away though, I think I'm finally done with this phone. Thanks for your help though. |

Hello. I just flashed the ROM (for 6.5.5) and I am very impressed with the "Just as Microsoft Intended" approach. Major props to you for getting all of the notification windows to be the same! Just as MS intended (cause between HTC Sense, some MMS app, and WinMo, different notificatino popups annoying me!)
I've been using a few custom ROMs, but they all seem to go overboard and such. Thank you for this! (enough brown-nosing) My data connection indicators (the two left/right arrows in the header area) are always on with this ROM when the screen is on. If i turn the screen off (power button), wait a moment and turn the screen on again, I notice that the arrows are off - and then they appear again. Is this eating my battery? I also attempted to install the Automatic_Data_Disconnect, rebooted, but it still acts the same way. Lastly, when I receive an MMS (a text w/pictures/videos embedded), I get a notification popup that says: Quote:
If this is not normal, could you help? Last edited by eduncan911; 10-13-2010 at 08:52 PM. |
