[ROM][WWE][09/13/10] swinnROM 6.5.x 23563/23138/21914 [KITCHEN][CLEAN]

I've updated the ROMs to the latest builds.

I decided to go ahead and update to the latest and am having a problem with the 6.5 Generic build. None of my hardware keys are working. So I went to Settings > System > Keyboard Config and I get a popup saying "Can't find appropriate keyboard driver running. Please make sure you are using right driver and it is currently running."

Also just wanted to add that as I was flashing back to the Apr 16 rom it didn't look like the latest one was labeled or anything. Usually when I go to flash it will say swinnrom on the update screen of the Rom update utility and the latest one didn't say anything at all. Don't know if it matters really but just wanted to give a heads up.

Sorry about the previous ROM. I fixed the problem and have re-uploaded the files. I have updated my phone to 23563 and all is well.

No worries, thanks for the quick fix!

I have to admit, when I reported that I experienced a problem with it I was kind of hoping that you would come back and say there wasn't anything wrong and it must be my phone! I've had this phone for quite some time now and have never experienced any issue with it and it's been dropped quite a few times, flashed hundreds of times, etc etc... Just been looking for a reason to try and exchange for a TP2 or something else. Oh well, this dang thing is just sooo dependable.

On the stock TP rom from Verizon there's a little app called "Long Press End" that allows you to lock the phone if you hold down the end key. Does anyone have a cab for it? I could always install S2U2 but it's heavy and these phones are gimped as it is.

From what I've seen, locking is the default action of the long press end key in 6.5 and requires no extra software. Try this:

1. Go to Settings->System->Keyboard Config
2. Click and hold on "NAVI_END" and select "Edit"
3. Where it says "Event", select "Long Press"
4. Where is says "Action", click the button that looks like "..."
5. Change the action type to "Default key action" and enable "Extended emulation"
6. Click OK, OK, then click the left soft key to update changes.
7. Exit Keyboard Config and test the long press end key.

Another option is to use DeviceLock which is a small program that you can assign to any button or whatever to lock the device.
