[ROM][WWE][09/13/10] swinnROM 6.5.x 23563/23138/21914 [KITCHEN][CLEAN]

The man behind this rom, swinn, got me started on this small app called DeviceLock. It works great and does just what it needs to do, starts the built in Lock from WM6.5. I map it to my left softkey, but you can map it to whatever you want really.

Maybe I should cook it into the ROM and assign it to the end key so it would work more like the default behavior.

Are there other dialer skins that work well with this version of WM? I tried a Taichi (sp?) dialer skin that someone cabbed.. and it left my phone in a horrible state and I had to hard reset. Any other popular dialers?

I've used this one without any problems on this rom.

That's actually the one I tried.. the dialer came up with a scroll bar on the right hand side and it slid off the screen as I attempted to dial a number.

I have my end key hold mapped to task manager. . . I guess locking my phone would prevent pocket activation. I like my music and all, but it's weird when it starts playing at seemingly random times-- which isn't so bad except I have to stop what I'm doing and listen to the rest of the song. You know how it is.

Um. . . oh no. It pains me to discover perhaps SMS isn't working for me. I'm on the 0409 6.5.5 Sprint. No one seems to be getting my text messages. Short of reflashing, is there anything I could check?

I can't duplicate it here at all. Never had an issue with sms personally and no one has ever reported it either. Not sure what to tell you.

Yeah I've never had an issue with SMS either on any versions of this rom. You might try a hard reset or even re-download and flash again.
