Flashed to the latest 6.5.5 rom but the SYM key still doesn't work.

Works fine for me. Type the base character then press SYM. For example, for a backslash, type a forward slash then press SYM. Press it multiple times for the other characters associated.

Ah, ok. I was expecting the full screen of characters to pop up. You're right, it works as you described.

Hey swinn, you mentioned using TomTom. . have you ever figured how to synch with TomTom Home? I saw a thread once on some shady forum about fooling TTH into thining you were connecting a TomTom Go, but well. . ANYway, yeah. Would be nice to have it semi updated since it doesn't need a phone / data connection at all.

I could only ever get it to connect to the older version of Home (1.5?). It would let you copy maps, voices, etc but wouldn't sync map corrections or any of the other services. I haven't even tried in a long time.

Out of curiosity do I have to apply the Javulticat 2016 fix to these roms still? Or do the sms dates work fine without the fix now? I've always just installed the fix so I'm not sure if it's just corrected in the roms already.
